Linlithgow Treasure TrailsTreasure Trails - Scotland Southeast have produced a series of walking trails to help families and groups of all ages to enjoy the outdoors in a fun, healthy and interesting way.
Each trail is written with a particular problem following one of 3 formats calling on the participants to uncover a hidden treasure, unmask a murderer or to crack a code to save the town. As you make your way around your chosen trail you will be directed to statues, plaques, memorials and other permanent structures to help you unravel the mystery.
The trails are enjoyable for locals and visitors alike and cost just £5 for a half day’s activity for an entire group, to be completed in your own time and at your own pace.
The Linlithgow spy trail is a circular walk that takes you around some diverse areas of the town, including a canal side walk as well as some time to stroll through part of the main town before finishing up at the historical palace. The trail is approximately 2 miles long and will take around 2 hours to complete.
Trails can be purchased on-line at Treasure Trails - Scotland Southeast. Local stockists, for all locations, are currently being sought.
