"Celebrate Linlithgow" and the Linlithgow Book Festival
October has a much enlarged arts festival in Linlithgow. Last year's "Celebrate Linlithgow" was a great success, but a lot was fitted into too short a timescale and the result was events competing for the same audience. This year it will run over three weeks, ending with the Linlithgow Book Festival. There are full programme details on the Celebrate Linlithgow website. Here are just a few highlights:
- 17th & 18th October: Art & Craft Exhibition at Lowport Centre
- 20th to 25th October: LAMP presents "Me and My Gal" in Linlithgow Academy
- 25th October: Scottish Ensemble "8 Seasons" in St Michael's Church
- 31 October: LYPP Rock Concert in Linlithgow Academy
- 31 October till 2 November: Linlithgow Book Festival at the Masonic Halls
- 1 November: Molly Whuppie at Blast-off Books
- 1 November: Scotch Hop Ceilidh at Linlithgow Academy
