Welcome to the Linlithgow Web e-Newsletter

Welcome to the first Linlithgow Web e-Newsletter.  We plan to circulate one per month and we hope that you find them useful.  If you can't see this properly, try http://www.linlithgow.com/newsletter.htm.  If you don't want to receive them, e-mail mail@linlithgow.com with "Remove Me" as the subject.  Likewise if you know someone who would like to receive them ask them to e-mail "Add Me" to mail@linlithgow.com.

Season's Greetings!

We wish you a Merry Christmas and all the best for 2008!  It looks like an exciting year lies ahead for Linlithgow.   Thanks to Ian Smith for permision to use his excelent picture of Linlithgow Cross and the Burgh Halls lit up for Christmas.

What's happening?

Since its launch in April 2007, Linlithgow Web has been very successful and we have served more than 115,000 pages in almost 60,000 user sessions!  We hope to maintain this level of interest by keeping the information in Linlithgow Web up to date and by adding new features where relevant.  The two most recent additions (apart from this e-Newsletter) are an automated "What's On?" section and the ability to subscribe your name and e-mail address to our mailing list.

Make sure that your events are included

It is our intention to put as many public events in the "What's On?" diary as possible, so please help by e-mailing full details of any events that may be of interest to visitors or members of the public to mail@linlithgow.com.  We don't want details of closed meetings intended for members only, unless you think that others might be interested in attending.

What do you think?

We want to know your views (good or bad).  Please take a few minutes to tell us what you think of Linlithgow Web and how we could make it better.

Regards,
John Aitken
