Its taken more than a year to get everything set up, but the new webcam at Linlithgow Cross is now fully operational, just in time for the Marches.
It has user selectable views of The Cross, Kirkgate, Cross House, Burgh Halls, Cross Well, High Street west & east and a close-up view of St Michael's distinctive spire and the refurbished Burgh Halls clock tower.
You can view the webcam at www.linlithgow.com/webcam_cross.htm, which is also linked from the homepage, as is the existing Linlithgow Canal Centre webcam.
Please tell all your friends about it and let me know your views - do you feel it is a useful asset to Linlithgow?
If you don't already know, the Marches is a day not to miss! Things have already got under way with the Civic Week events in the marquee and the first Deacons Night on 5th June. The second Deacons Night is on Saturday 12th June, leaving West Port at 6:30pm. There are lots of Deacons being installed so it should be well worth going down to the Cross.
Happy Marches!
Congratulations to The Rose for winning the Scottish Junior Cup!
This new attraction at Beecraigs Country Park has now fully opened. I hope it brings in lots of additional visitors to Linlithgow.
Please use Linlithgow Web's What's On? events diary to keep up with events in and around Linlithgow.
We are concerned that some public events in the town are still not being entered. If you represent an organisation, please make sure that all of your public events are included. It isn't difficult and every organisation in Linlithgow can add its own events and maintain its listing entry. If you need more information, please read the instructions and e-mail mail@linlithgow.com so that I can give you organisation's login ID and password.
