Folk session in Linlithgow

Sunday June 17th - 2pm in the Black Bitch Tavern

Folk music fans in Linlithgow will be gathering at the town's Black Bitch Tavern on Sunday afternoon for the monthly music session organised by the local Folk Festival Association.

With the session taking place two days before the historic Riding of the Marches, music and songs associated with Linlithgow's biggest day of the year will be featured, including the ancient Marches Day anthem, the Roke and the wee pickle tow.

Proceedings will get under way at 2pm in the large beer garden behind the Black Bitch Tavern.  In the event of inclement weather, the session will take place in the Upstairs Lounge.  A warm welcome is extended to all musicians who would like to come along and take part.
