In Graham's own words:

"I work mainly in watercolor; this continues to be my favorite medium due to its fluidity and transparency.

"When I paint I aim to catch the atmosphere and the essence of the subject. I am particularly inspired by the landscape and nature but equally at home with other subject matter.

"I paint mostly for my own pleasure as inspiration is all around me in the Scottish landscapes; I do however work on commissions as a professional artist and conduct the occasional workshops, beginners' classes, and demonstrations etc, which as taken me as far a field as Norway."
