Abercorn had won the Kennedy Cup match against Uphall, had won the District Medal match against Lundin & Montrave and West Lothian Province had won Area 6 Bonspiel with Abercorn coming highest. On the other hand, we had ended up 4th in the Coronation League and as runners up to Oatridge in the Nimmo.

The John Cochrane trophy was won by John Graham (skip), Lesley Arrowsmith, Sharon Graham and Ian Paxton. Alan Cochrane (skip) Shelagh Arkley, Jim Smith and John Aitken won the Karl Pohlen trophy. The Forbes knockout trophy was won by George Shiels (skip), Jim Arkley, Quentin Allardice and Harry Brodie and the Howden pairs tankards were won by John Graham & Lesley Arrowsmith.
Annual Accounts: Treasurer George Shiels presented the accounts, showing a healthy closing balance of £546.06, in spite of the club meeting the cost of ice for the National Province competitions. The accounts were unanimously adopted.
Election of Office Bearers: Jim Smith was re-elected President, John Aitken Secretary and George Shiels Treasurer. Jim intimated that this would be his last year as President. Election of Committee: Quentin Allardice, David Arkley, Jim Arkley, Bob McCaig, Alan Cochrane and Jim Waddell were elected to serve on the Committee.

Subscriptions: It was agreed to retain the same subscription level - £30 for full members, £16 for those with another mother club and £3 for non-playing members. This includes £6 to cover the cost of ice for the points competition.
Pre-Paid Ice: Pre-paying for ice had created benefits for both the club and members and it was agreed that this would be repeated in the new season. Members will be asked to pay the full season's ice or to pay in two instalments due in August and December
Weekend Away: A provisional booking for 16 has been made at North West Castle on 26-28 October. There was some interest and this will be followed up.
Dinner: Members enjoyed an excellent meal prepared by Andy Harkness of Linlithgow Golf club.
Conclusion: After the dinner the prizes and trophies were presented by Annie McKerrow, members enjoyed each other's company and the raffle, which raised £101, was drawn.
